**BONE BROTH AND PEA SOUP**

IMG_4724Doesn’t sound delicious.. but i promise it is..!  AND so incredibly nourishing for your body so double enjoyment.

In one sauce pan, fry off a teaspoon each of :
Smoked Paprika
Cumin
Lots of Chopped Garlic
Chopped 1 Red Onion
Chopped Spring Onions (about 6)
Chopped 1 fresh Chilli inc seeds  (2 if you like things hot!)

In other pan, boil 2 cups of frozen peas for about 2 minutes until de-frosted then drain and put to one side.

Back to your other pan, now everything is softened and flavour filled, pour in 4 cups of bone broth. (I just buy good quality / organic from any health food shop but of  course you can make your own!)
Add the peas and let it slowly simmer for 10 minutes.

Once all is hot, whizz it up with a handheld soup maker. (Nutribullet works as well if you need to pour the mixture in there instead..!)

It will be delicious just like that, but for extra oomph add some croutons / fried seeds on top. I did pumpkin & sunflower seeds, and a drizzle of garlic oil. YUM.

If you are interested in bone broth, let me know and i can send some helpful links. In summary, glucosamine found in Bone Broth is  able to resist normal digestive processes and pass through the intestinal wall intact. Once it gets into your bloodstream it stimulates the growth of new healthy collagen & helps repair damaged joints. Collagen is not just in our joints but in bone, skin, arteries, hair and just about everything! Think of   bone broth as a kind of youth serum capable of rejuvenating your body…!!
