Like brownies… but no chocolate.. get it? These ones are EXTRA nourishing with just a few natural ingredients, no nasties, and extra cricket protein – YUM .
These are so tasty, so simple and you can whip them up in just a few minutes. Perfect afternoon pick me up!
In a mixer:
1 tin of rinsed and soaked chickpeas
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/3 cup rice malt syrup / honey
1/2 TBS baking soda
2 TBS Hoppa Cricket Protein Powder
2 TBS Vanilla Essence
Chopped Nuts or even better… chocolate chips!
Once mixed up, put the mixture into a baking tin lined with baking paper, flatten it down a little, and add more nuts / chocolate chunks on top.
Bake in a 180’C oven for approx 40 mins or until they are looking more solid and the texture you like for brownies – remember they do firm up after cooling!
