Dessert for breakfast? Yes! If it’s a nutritionally dense chia and raspberry pudding!
This Chia Pudding is made from Raspberries & Greek yoghurt mixed with Chia Seeds, left overnight in the fridge. Super easy but super rich in minerals, plant proteins and antioxidants.
Chia seeds are also rich in omega 3s which are a natural anti-inflammatory. They are great for your heart, digestion, skin, ageing, bones and dental health.
One of the best things about Chia is their high fibre content which lets the sugars in the fruit mix be more slowly absorbed into the bloodstream. This helps control blood sugar spikes and mid-morning cravings. Another added benefit from the fibre is that they help protect beneficial antioxidants (found in the fruit on top) from being destroyed by stomach acid, so more of them can reach your intestines. The fibre allows those antioxidants to be more bioavailable in your large intestines which can help with disease prevention.
Simply mix yoghurt and berries in your blender, add chia seeds to the mix, and let it set overnight. Enjoy! PWPantry x
