**MORNING GREEN SMOOTHIE**

ntry

Hopefully you’re enjoying your 2016 January health kick, but if you need an extra boost try ensuring you have a nutritious smoothie every morning.

Ingredients:

2 Handfuls of Spinach ✔
Half a Cucumber✔
2 cm of Fresh Ginger✔
Juice of 2 Lemons and Limes✔
A dash of Orange Juice✔
Teaspoon of Chia Seeds ✔

Cucumber is great for stopping cancer causing hormones from binding to cells, so add it to any of your smoothies for a extra freshness.

Spinach and other green vegetables contain Chlorophyll which has shown to be effective at blocking carcinogenics, so I always try and add a handful of spinach or Kale to any morning smoothie. Plus it’s very high in Vitamin A which is necessary for sebum production keeping your hair shiny and healthy!

Finally, Chia seeds are great to add in as they are full of natural fibre and expand in your stomach. This should increase feelings of fullness, slow the absorption of your food and help you automatically eat fewer calories.

Enjoy! PW Pantry x
